LUNCH

My fall back is a snack at the desk and that is the norm, however, we have great eateries on site and once in a while, I will entertain a VIP guest with my favourite diet of fish and fresh produce all washed down with some of the local wine. Sometimes it is hard but someone has to do it and yes, sometimes the wine can flow!

AFTERNOON Well it’s back to the office and there’s usually a mixture of challenges and ongoing projects. The team are fantastic, they have been established here for sometime and I know I can trust them – they’re great trouble shooters! But, we’re a new marina and typically I am in marketing meetings, meetings with accountants, meetings with the team and yes, I help tie up boats when I am needed!

END OF THE WORKING DAY When I haven’t any meetings in the afternoon that spill over to the evening, I enjoy playing sport and if I can get on the tennis court or go for a swim using our private beach, then I will. End of the day for me is usually 7pm and I will often go shopping for an evening meal at this time.

DINNER & DRINKS Occasionally, I take the team out for drinks especially if we’ve had a heavy work load. A bar is on site and most of the team live close by in Salerno and I love getting us all together to enjoy an hour or so at sunset to celebrate. Taxis can be overworked when we decide to have a ‘Love the Team’ evening! Other times, I visit my family who also live locally for a glass of wine and a light meal, if I am not at home with my husband. If Agostino is home, then we will go to our favourite restaurant, Pescheria a Salerno. We have been dining there for many years. It is a special place for us as we have planned our whole lives together, over our favourite table! It is also a great place to unwind before we head back home and start all over again the next day.
