ICE REVIEW
Sportingtech F
ull-service betting and gaming platform provider Sportingtech has enjoyed its biggest ICE London yet, after showcasing its powerful products and services and being awarded 2024 Stand of the Year. The event was the first under the leadership of new CEO Tom Ustunel, as the supplier showcased its localised and tailored content offerings and outlined its plans for 2024. Sportingtech aims to enhance its leading reputation across LatAm, with further expansion expected when legislators publish their framework later this year. The brand’s prominent positioning at the ExCeL saw record footfall at its immersive stand, which included an interactive motion-detection game for

visitors, perfectly highlighting the engaging and fun content for which Sportingtech is renowned. Its striking layout and creative elements subsequently landed ICE 2024 Stand of the Year, as awarded by
Next.io.
Sportingtech’s diverse products were on full display, including its Bet Builder and Share-a-Bet features. Share-a-Bet allows social media users to share their betslips on various platforms and effectively taps into the preferences of a new generation of bettors.
Tom Ustunel, CEO at Sportingtech, said: “ICE is one of the key events for the industry and this year had extra significance given it is the last one in London. The team went all out to deliver a
fantastic stand which
captured the imaginations of visitors and made sure our ethos shone
through. To be deemed as having the most impressive stand from industry experts is recognition for the hard work put in by everyone. “We now commence the rest of our busy global events schedule, including SBC Summit Rio and Brazilian iGaming Summit | BiS SiGMA Américas, to place Sportingtech at the forefront of operator’s minds.”
he star of the show at ICE2024 was ProgressPlay’s standalone technology, consolidating the continuing development processes that brings innovative and flexible proprietary technology to new emerging markets and existing ones.
ProgressPlay’s B2B offering has undergone significant advancements, granting the company access to three distinct layers within the gambling industry. Each layer offers varying service levels and methods for empowering partners from the outset. The first layer is the white-label solution, where partners focus solely on marketing activities while ProgressPlay handles all other aspects, providing a comprehensive end-to-end solution. This was the company’s initial core offering when it launched in 2012. Subsequently, the turnkey solution was
Playnetic P
introduced, allowing partners to engage in both marketing and CRM activities.
The leap forward from ICE2023 to ICE2024 is the introduction of the standalone licensee offering by ProgressPlay. In this arrangement, ProgressPlay serves as the technology provider while partners take charge of all their own operations, including marketing, operational support, fraud risks, CRM, and license processing.
This third layer was unveiled at ICE2024 and is the primary focus for the company this year across international markets. It was met with great enthusiasm throughout the duration of the show in London.
ProgressPlay head of marketing and sales, Marina Nahhas, said: “We have been on an amazing journey, and right before ICE2024 we
discovered we have been recognised amongst the Top 10 Casino Tech Solutions Providers in Europe 2024. That’s a message we will continue to build on at shows around the world this year.” ProgressPlay CEO, Itai Loewenstein, added: “Our industry is one of the quickest and most adept at implementing new digital technologies, which is why we have had to stay at least one-step ahead of industry needs. The reception for our standalone technology at ICE2024 is the proof-of- concept, and we are sure that we are addressing key critical needs with our powerful platform.”
laynetic, the new immersive iGaming business, has marked its introduction to the industry with a bang after enjoying a successful brand launch at this year’s ICE London.
Using the prominent industry event to officially announce itself and reinforce the company’s key messages to its partners, Playnetic revealed details of 10 exciting casino titles, as it previewed games from its ever-expanding portfolio. The collection includes eight thematic slots and two classic tables games, including thrilling titles: Max Catch, Miners are Wild and Thor’s Wild Power. These absorbing games were the centre of attention for Playnetic’s highly
popular daily tournament, presenting enchanting audio-visuals and a variety of mechanics, the trio of titles attracted more than 300 players each day, with nine lucky players taking home a collection of brilliant prizes.
Dan Phillips, Playnetic CEO said: “We’re pleased to have had such a successful launch at one of the most important gaming events of the year. It was a pleasure to speak with a variety of industry experts and relay our vision for what we can offer in a vastly competitive business environment. “It was fantastic to see so many positive leads for our CCO, Julian Borg-Barthet and the sales team; highlighting what a
triumphant show it was. We’re really looking forward to the year ahead and to showcasing more content from our growing games library, beyond the ten titles we launched at ICE. We have a lot planned and are excited to continue growing and making our mark in key jurisdictions.”
