ICE 2024 REVIEW

Quixant Q

uixant enjoyed a successful week at the final ICE London with the launch of its IQ 2 platform. Quixant, the

leading provider of gaming technology solutions, is pleased to reflect on another great event at the recently concluded and last ICE London show, after successfully launching its new Intel-based IQ 2 hardware platform. Abhinay Bhagavatula, Quixant’s EVP, CTO, and Global Manufacturing Leader, shared insights and highlights from Quixant’s time at the event, including the launch of its IQ 2 product, which received an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors. Bhagavatula highlighted, ‘The IQ 2 is uniquely positioned to meet the evolving needs of the gaming market, with a cost-effective, powerful, and efficient globally compliant platform, coupled with Quixant’s comprehensive Software Suite features and support. These aspects make it ideally suited to the LatAm and Route and Amusement markets, and other markets looking for economical yet powerful solutions.’ With Intel® 12th Generation – Alder Lake N processors,

the passively cooled platform has two times more powerful CPU performance when compared to previous generation products, allowing customers to improve frames per second, or make their sports betting kiosk experience even more immersive. It has an integrated LED strip interface and Intel® UHD graphics, and drives up to three displays. Importantly, it completes Quixant’s range of Intel and AMD platforms – IQ, IQON, and QMAX - offering scalability and flexibility to customers worldwide. Discussing trends, Bhagavatula highlighted the increasing

convergence of online and land-based gaming experiences, driven by innovations in system integration, cashless solutions, and player tracking technologies. Bhagavatula commented, ‘At this year’s ICE, there was significant interest from online and sports betting companies, showcasing innovative solutions aimed at enhancing player engagement. The importance of putting players at the core of the gaming experience was a central focus throughout the event.’ Looking ahead, Bhagavatula shared Quixant’s focus on

key markets such as Latin America, Europe, and emerging regions like Africa and Asia. With Brazil poised to become a significant gaming market, Quixant stands ready to leverage opportunities presented by the anticipated regulatory changes in sports betting. Addressing supply chain matters, Bhagavatula concluded,

‘Quixant’s proactive measures to mitigate logistical challenges and ensure consistent product availability for customers continue. Working tirelessly in collaboration with our customers allows us to reduce lead times as much as possible, and offer customers the lowest cost we can.’ As ICE prepares to move to Barcelona in 2025,

Bhagavatula expressed excitement for the new venue and opportunities it presents, while reaffirming Quixant’s commitment to engaging with customers through various platforms including the upcoming IGA event in California in April.
