Charles Mizzi selected as MGA’s new CEO


T


he Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has selected Charles Mizzi to succeed Carl Brincat as its new CEO with effect from 26 January 2024.


The appointment follows the public call issued on 30 October 2023 and the selection process which ensued thereafter. Mizzi will be shadowing Brincat throughout January to ensure a smooth transition at the helm of the Authority.


Mizzi will join the MGA following a fi ve-year tenure at the helm of the Residency Malta Agency, where he has been instrumental in leading the organisation towards its goal of ensuring that Malta is one of the most reputable and desirable residencies by investment jurisdictions. As a

dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive experience in operations management, the MGA Board of Governors is in no doubt that he will continue to build on the solid foundations that he will fi nd at the Authority.
