Spielwarenmesse Golden Bear

Stand: Hall 5 / stand A-47 Contact: customerservices@goldenbeartoys.co.uk

With almost four decades of producing award-winning, licensed brands and popular IPs, Golden Bear will be showcasing some of its latest innovative and creative ranges while exhibiting at Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2022.

Continuing its long-term partnerships with the BBC and Acamar, Golden Bear will be unveiling new product lines and planned marketing activities for both its Hey Duggee and Bing ranges. Range extensions come following a successful year with award-winning products across multiple international territories, and a strong Q4 period with stand-out hero items including the new Hey Duggee Spin and Groove with DJ Duggee, and the Musical Statues Dancing Bing Soft Toy.

The company is experiencing a runaway success with its new IP, Windy Bums. This fun, giggling, trumping plush range will see the introduction of two new characters for AW22. Donkey and Pig will join the already popular Unicorn, Monkey and Panda.

Another newly introduced

IP to the Golden Bear portfolio is Zipstas – the 2-in-1 toy that embraces both plush collectibles and the ongoing toddler rucksack trend. These backpacks are available in various sizes and transform into cuddly plush toys. With the inside out, children can go out and about with their rucksack, and then they can simply unzip and flip it to reveal a furry friend for lightweight, portable fun. The lines currently include a sloth, unicorn, panda and narwhal, with plans to showcase an extended range of animal and fruit-themed SKUs while at the show. Expanding the animal

theme, Golden Bear will be launching its brand-new IP Curlimals: interactive plush that respond to touch with over 45 sounds and reactions. These cute

woodland creatures come in two colourways – a purple hedgehog and a pink bunny. Each has its own unique sounds to reflect its personality. A gentle stroke on the head will awaken each Curlimal. Initially a little shy, the Curlimals respond with more attention and uncurl, ready to play. The characters will then giggle, sing, hum… and burp. Stroke the top of their nose to hear cute sneezing and tickle their tummy to make them belly- laugh! When the Curlimals are tired and ready to nap, they will curl up into a sleepy ball and begin to softly snore. With a long-term business strategy to

develop its family games offering, the company will be introducing own IP, Squirty Gertie, an interactive game for all ages where the aim is to avoid getting wet. Including two modes of play, players compete to beat their opponents by remaining dry throughout the game. Either race against another player to be the fastest to ‘squirt’ the other while in competition mode or opt for in-turn mode where one wrong mooove sees Gertie squirt water over the loser.
