TIPPERS IS A family-run business which has been supplying the Midlands with building supplies, materials and hardware for over 100 years.
Since it opened its first builder’s
merchant branch in 1916, the company has expanded to 12 stores: Lichfield, Uttoxeter, Tam- worth, Nuneaton, Kidderminster, Birmingham, Rugeley, Huthwaite, Wolverhampton, Birmingham Tool Hire, Ashbourne and Stoke-on- Trent.
The branches stock a range of
products from luxury kitchens and bathrooms to timber and in- sulation. There is also a specialist volumetric concrete offer, Tippers Precision Concrete.
A STRICTLY TRADE-ONLY plumbing and heating merchant, Williams opened its new Poole branch in December and has a further five new branches planned for 2021.
The company upgraded its site at Crayford to operate 7 days a week as a regional fulfilment centre, enabling it to expand the coverage of our its 7-day, same- day delivery offer, which is now available across the majority of postcodes in England and South Wales. The Milton Keynes site is being scaled up to a full distribution centre to support Williams’ mid-term growth plans for new branches in the Northern home counties and East and West Midlands.
It was recognised by London Stock Exchange as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain for the 5th time. The Tool Angel service, originally launched in 2020 to help customers who experience Tool theft, has been
