BUILDERS MERCHANTS: A-Z C C&W BERRY


FOUNDED IN 1954 by Brothers Walter & Colin Berry as a joinery manufacturers in King Street, Leyland, the company is still family owned, selling mainly to the building trade, with 3 generations of the family still actively working for the company. The company has been on its massive Golden Hill Lane site since 1961.

CARVER


Carvers Builders Village, rebuilt following a massive fire in February 2012, features a fully-stocked builders merchant branch, a kitchen and bathroom showroom, a cooker centre, Carvers DIY showroom, a landscaping centre and a drive-through warehouse for building materials. There is also a number of franchise operations

Crossling trading divisions include Stokplas at Sheffield and Northern Tools & Accessories at Newcastle upon Tyne.There are 15 outlets at: Ashington, Brighouse, Carlisle, Darlington, Doncaster, Dumfries, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Stockton, Sunderland, Team Valley and Wakefield.


COVERS


Covers has supplied a diverse range of timber and building materials to a wide spectrum of customers for over 170 years. With 15 branch locations spread across the South of England, it imports timber directly from the source and there are timber mills equipped with the fast and flexible wood working machinery to produce quality joinery and mouldings. Stress grading, house lot packages and preservative treatments are also available.
