BMF Unveils ‘Make a Material Difference’ Sector Awareness Programme


The BMF is set to unveil the Sector Awareness Programme to its members, aimed at spotlighting the building materials sector’s varied career opportunities.


This multifaceted initiative seeks to redefine perceptions, attracting talent to the sector and ensuring its long-term sustainability.


By showcasing the diverse roles and innovative advancements within the industry, the programme


aims to engage not only career starters but also people considering a switch, as well as those already employed in the sector. Through positive, consistent messaging, the programme will underscore the unique attributes of working in building materials, highlighting the sector’s pivotal role in shaping communities and infrastructures.


BMF members will play an active


BMF and NMBS Forge Alliance through Group Affiliate Scheme In a landmark agreement,


the BMF and NMBS have joined forces to extend BMF membership benefits to NMBS members through a Group Affiliate Scheme. This enables NMBS’ non-BMF members to access BMF training courses and a limited range of BMF events and services.


From April 2024, NMBS members can benefit from this initiative, which offers discounted rates and access to key BMF resources.
