Edward-Elmhurst Sleep Center Disagnoses Sleep Disorders
To assist in diagnosing sleep disorders, Edward-
Elmhurst Health offers a Sleep Center in Yorkville at 88 W. Countryside Prky.
An estimated 70 million Americans have a sleep
condition, according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Left untreated, sleep disorders can put patients at risk for heart disease and other health issues. Te Yorkville Sleep Center features a four-bed sleep diagnostic and therapeutic testing area with state-of-the-art digital equipment that allows physicians to determine if a patient is suffering from a sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome or narcolepsy. Kristin Mock, MD, board certified in family medicine and sleep medicine, is medical director of the Edward-Elmhurst Health Sleep Center – Yorkville. Dr. Mock received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her internship at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center and residencies at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation,
