ARMED AND READY AeroAudio
BY KEVIN EMMOTT
Making its global debut at IBC2023 is AeroAudio’s Quatro IP microphone on- air switch, which can switch the integrated tally lamps of Yellowtec m!ka microphone arms over an IP network. Also known as the MOS Quatro IP, the product is a four-way on-air microphone switch in a 1U rackmount box for integration and centralised control of multiple on-air microphones. Up to four microphone arms can be connected to the unit’s
rear panel, which all switch separately from each other. The MOS Quatro IP controls the tally lights of the connected microphone arms, with red indicating on-air and white for off-air. LEDs on the unit’s front panel also show the on-air and off-air status of each microphone, while an additional status LED indicator lights up when a 12v DC power supply is present. Compatible with Axia LWCP, Global TCP commando and DHD global logic, the unit can be used in both broadcasting and recording environments. 8.B42
