Media and entertainment catalogue management specialist Fabric is demonstrating its data service products for content owners on the AWS stand in Hall 5. Products on show include Fabric Origin, which delivers trailers, clips and value-add content that is said to drive discovery and engagement, and enhance viewer experience. Fabric is also using AI to deliver custom synopsis editing, transformation and localisation at volume for major studio clients.
Fabric Studio provides a “categorical source of truth” for title catalogue data within an organisation, preventing record duplication in the supply chain. According to the company, Fabric Studio unifi es media supply chains with customised features and seamless integrations, providing metadata enrichment, process automation, reporting and data insights, content review and localisations management. Shure has announced its intent at IBC to acquire Finnish audio developer Wavemark, known for its software for broadcast and theatre, and content streaming applications such as Wavetool and WTAutomixer. Shure says Wavemark’s product range reinforces its commitment to the evolving needs of the professional audio and events industries. Fully integrated into the Shure
stand in Hall 8, Wavetool offers a centralised platform that enables remote listening and viewing of all audio sources while monitoring RF and battery levels. A specialised algorithm is designed to detect and fl ag faulty sound sources promptly, allowing for swift identifi cation and resolution of audio issues. Additionally, the software boasts an integrated chat feature for communication among audio technicians.
