4D FLEX DELIVERS DETACHABLE DESIGN DJI

The latest version of the Ronin 4D four-axis stabilised cinema camera boasts a detachable design, with LiDAR focusing and wireless transmission. The Ronin 4D Flex is an extendable system that DJI claims offers more fl exible, effi cient and creative camera movement. It reduces the handheld weight down to 1.8kg, about one-third of the original weight, making it useful for long-duration shooting, especially in mobile scenarios.
The 2m gimbal camera extension cable enables through-shots and movements in narrow spaces such as car interiors. It also allows the X9 gimbal camera to be used as an ultra-small cinematic- grade remote head. Switching between Flex and the integrated confi guration on set is fast, with no tools required. The Ronin 4D Flex is an £829/€949 addition to the £5659/€6599 DJI Ronin 4D. Ronin 4D uses Zenmuse X9,
DJI’s fl agship full-frame camera, alongside its latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0. This utilises DJI’s proprietary chip to provide advanced processor
architecture and allows Ronin 4D to support internal recording of Apple ProRes Raw, ProRes 4444 XQ, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 LT and H.264 video.

Four new POV cameras, all featuring low-latency NDI|HX3 streaming as well as standard IP (HEVC) encoding and simultaneous HDMI output, are on show at the Marshall stand.
The CV570 miniature and CV370 compact NDI|HX3 cameras both contain a new Sony sensor with larger pixels and square pixel array, and offer resolutions of 1920x1080p, 1920x1080i and 1280x720p. The cameras are
designed with interchangeable lenses, multiple broadcast and pro-AV frame rates, remote adjustability, and durable bodies made of lightweight aluminium. The step-up CV574 miniature and CV374 NDI|HX3 cameras contain the same features, but with a new Sony 4K sensor. All four cameras can be set to NDI|HX3, and NDI|HX2, as well as standard IP with SRT and other common streaming codec settings, with a simultaneous HDMI output for traditional processing or switching equipment.

use a miniature (2x2x3.5in) M12 lens mount built into the body. The CV370 (HD) and CV374 (UHD) offer a slightly larger aluminium
