#IBC2023 AI AND IP TO LEAD SHOWCASE THEATRE DISCUSSIONS Head to the Showcase Theatre in Hall 12 for in-depth debate and insight
With the potential opportunities and impact of AI and IP continuing to be a talking point across the industry, today’s sessions on the Showcase Theatre in Hall 12 (12.A60) are not to be missed. This morning will see Zixi and Microsoft share their latest insights, before Wondershare carries on the conversation this afternoon. Zixi will kick things off at 10:30 with a discussion around the
economic advantages of IP delivery. CEO Gordon Brooks will chair a panel of industry leaders who will debate the opportunities generated by IP, including the ability to reduce costs and generate more revenue. At 11:45, a Microsoft-hosted session will explore the impact of change – including that heralded by AI – in the media industry. Francesco Venturini, CVP, Media
and Communications Industry, Microsoft, will consider the needs and challenges associated with the digital age and look at the role of technology and innovation in the media landscape. Venturini will then be joined by Allen Broome, CEO of MediaKind, to share how they are working with each other to enable the next wave of change. At 13:30,
SWEET.TV will present ‘A unique solution to succeed in
OTT streaming business’, looking at future pay-TV trends, offering insight into multiplatform OTT development, and considering an OTT franchise versus an OTT white-label overview. Mykhailo Khyzhniak, Chief Executive Offi cer,
SWEET.TV, will be presenting. Wondershare will then take to the Showcase Theatre stage at 15:30 to share its thoughts on the impact of AI on creativity. Video editor Jordan Orme will discuss how integral video is in our lives and how to maximise effi ciency and skill with the help of new AI tools. Orme will present some advantages of using AI-powered tools in video editing, such as saving time and money while creating create high-quality video.
