CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE BLACKBURN COLLEGE
APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS EVENING
Blackburn College was proud to host its annual Apprenticeship Awards Evening – a night dedicated to honouring the outstanding achievements of their apprentices and employers across Lancashire. The evening was held at Ewood Park, home of Blackburn Rovers.
Over 100 nominees, their family and friends, distinguished guests and proud employers attended the evening which encapsulated the hard work, resilience, and commitment. Their stories of determination and progression inspired everyone in the room.
Throughout the evening employers and winning apprentices shared their experiences and journeys which were stories filled with ambition, challenges overcome, and milestones reached.
They praised the college for being more than just a training provider. It has been a trusted partner, one that listens, nurtures, and equips learners to thrive. Whether it’s one- on-one support, practical training, or simply being there during the tough moments, Blackburn College has proven to be the perfect partner in their journey.
Fazal Dad CBE, principal and chief executive, said: “The Blackburn College Apprenticeship Awards are the shining moment for Apprentices to be rewarded for their hard work, skills journey, and determination to achieve commendable results.
“Thank you also to our incredible employers, whose commitment to nurturing and developing talent through apprenticeships is vital. The evening’s successes are a testament to that partnership and provide the foundations of a future workforce which is exciting and inspiring!”
