Technical knowledge and practical skills


FINANCE T LEVEL


Level 3 | Duration: 2 years North Devon | FTB595


T Levels ensure you meet the needs of industry by combining classroom theory, practical learning and industry placement.


During this course, you will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the finance sector.


You will study the following units:


• The business environment


• Fundamentals of financial accounting


• Professionalism and ethics


• Data driven innovation, analytics and design thinking


You will also study financial compliance/risk analyst as your occupational specialism.


You will also undertake a 315-hour (minimum) industry placement.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS To be accepted onto this programme, you must hold at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above. This must include grade 5 in English.


PROGRESSION Successful completion of this qualification will open up a huge range of possible careers in the finance sector. It will give you an advantage when applying for a job or when progressing to further study.
