SCIENCE APPRENTICESHIPS

We offer a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.

An apprenticeship blends classroom learning with on the job training, meaning you can earn while you learn. You will usually spend four days in the workplace as a paid employee, with one day in the classroom where you will reinforce and further develop your skills and workplace learnings.

During your apprenticeship, you will be expected to undertake a range of predefined knowledge, skills and behaviours which will relate to your programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Each apprenticeship will have its own specific entry requirements; you can find out more on our website.

PROGRESSION An apprenticeship is a great pathway to a rewarding and successful career, or can be a stepping stone to a higher level programme.

You can find more information about our apprenticeships at petroc.ac.uk/apprenticeships

If you aren’t sure which sector you want to work in, or are unable to secure an apprenticeship, you may wish to undertake a Traineeship. For more information about Traineeships, contact our Advice & Guidance Centre.
