HPC AT THE RITZ CLUB
Once again the Members of the Club found themselves in the sumptuous and convivial Ritz Club surroundings. A great shame if you were not there as the setting is simply wonderful and a missed opportunity!!
What a picture perfect location for a party at Christmas with all that glitters and sparkles, both the décor and the guests shining brightly and such a warm welcomed by Andrew Love, Deputy Chairman of The Ritz Hotel and Executive Chairman of the The Ritz Club, Roger Marris CEO and David Herbert, Director of Club. The champagne flowed and the guests having not seen each other since the end of the polo season were determined to catch up with each other and all the gossip. Great canapes as ever were plentiful to keep the invitees sustained.
It was delightful to see old friends from the past return into the fold and many new guests invited by our members, there were plans afoot for charity issues so we will hope they come to fruition. It is extraordinary that we can still foregather, having spent many hours together over the course of the season, but still enjoy each other’s company yet again.
After much imbibing, it was time to depart either to partake of a superb Ritz Club’s dinner or to wend the weary way home before the actual Christmas Festivities.
A delightfully genial evening indeed.
