2017’s Petersham bowl was well subscribed and games were spread over a week. Following some hot competition Foxtrot Whisky arrived in the final alongside Belvedere Consulting. Foxtrot Whisky had been switching out their number three throughout the tournament but number 1 choice Ollie Cork had recovered from injury to take up his spot in the final. The Belvedere Consulting team headed by Kate Lindsay-Fynn and Stephen O'Kane featured professional duo Alastair Paterson and Michael Goodwill who have spent plenty of time playing together.
Foxtrot Whisky took the first two chukkas by storm and their unanswered goals took their lead to 5-0 at half time. In the second half Belvedere Consulting regrouped to bring themselves within two goals of the opposition in the last minutes of the game. The Foxtrot Whisky team kept them at bay though maintaining their lead long enough to take the win.
In the subsidiary final were Vendetta and Greenforde Farm. Both of these Ham teams had been unlucky with their performances in the group games and clearly wanted to improve in the sub final. Vendetta had the stronger first half and Jimmy Wood upped the pace of the game.

Greenforde Farm were unlucky with a few chances going amiss which could have put them into contention. Like the final, it was the first half performance in the match that won the game. Vendetta took home the subsidiary final plate.
