Looking back, what do you consider as defining moments in JCM’s history that have shaped the company’s trajectory?


JCM has always been driven by a pioneering spirit, and several key milestones have helped define who we are today in our 70th year. Our early development of secure, high-performance cash-handling solutions set the stage, but it was the launch of the iVIZION bill validator that truly marked a turning point. Introducing Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology to the market, iVIZION raised the bar for accuracy and fraud protection and became the benchmark for the industry.


Te development of the UBA Pro series further advanced our trajectory, offering a modular platform that could evolve from a simple note acceptor into a full-scale recycling solution. Tis adaptability meant we could serve a much wider array of sectors, including gaming, retail, parking, and financial services, while maintaining the high standards our partners expect. Other defining moments include our strategic global expansion, our deep investment in IP development, and our commitment to technology leadership in the gaming sector. Each of these elements reflects JCM’s long-standing dedication to quality, innovation, and customer trust.


How does JCM cultivate a culture that encourages continuous innovation across all levels of the organisation?

We empower all team members to contribute ideas, and we ensure there’s a transparent process for tracking and developing those ideas into tangible results. Our internal IP team plays a key role in nurturing this pipeline, frequently brainstorming to ensure every innovation is aligned with both market needs and long-term company strategy. Tis culture of continuous improvement and openness has helped us maintain a steady stream of technological advancements that keep JCM at the forefront of the industry.


As JCM looks ahead to the next decade, what’s your vision for the company’s evolution?


Looking forward, JCM will continue its evolution into a solutions- driven technology partner that supports the automation of cash and cashless payment processes across industries.


Cash remains a vital and universally accepted payment method, particularly in situations where reliability, security, and independence from digital infrastructure are essential including for example crises and conflicts.
