GLI Latin America Region

Karen Sierra-Hughes, Director of Government Relations and Business Development, LatAm and Caribbean, GLI

The needs for our independent advice and services continue to grow as jurisdictions continue to seek a modern and strong regulatory model and as technology becomes more complex. That’s why regulators, suppliers, and operators consistently continue to rely on our integral services from policy and regulatory development, audit, testing, certification, cybersecurity, responsible gambling, and money laundering prevention. Keeping pace with our clients’ needs and technology is crucial to the industry’s success, and we are committed to our clients in Latin America and the Caribbean, and around the world, to help them be as prepared as possible for every opportunity that lies ahead.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with regulators, suppliers, and operators across Latin America over the past 20 years. Jurisdictions across the region have made tremendous strides and today are among the world’s most progressive. The thanks goes completely to the hard-working regulatory and industry professionals, who have dedicated their lives to making this region a vibrant, fair place to do business, and to play.” James Maida, GLI President/CEO
