Gamestec, Playnation, Astra Games, Bell Fruit, Harlequin Gaming and Innov8 Gaming are now in the hands of Inspired


SLOVENIA – Novomatic has bought Casino Riviera in the seaside resort of Portorož, in Slovenia’s South West, taking its total number of Slovenian casinos to nine out of the 26 casinos operating in the country. Novomatic subsidiary Novo Investicije bought Casino Princess in Nova Gorica in June from Turkish operator Princess Group International.

In the past few years, Novomatic has bought casinos in Kongo near Grosuplje just south-east of Ljubljana and Lev in Ljubljana from Slovenian entrepreneur Joc Pečečnik. Under the Admiral Slovenija brand, the Austrian group also operates Admiral Casino Mediteran casinos and hotels in Kozina, Casino Carnevale in kofije, Casino Poetovio in Ptuj and slot halls Casino Joker in Maribor and Casino Tivoli in Lesce.

MALTA – Betsoft Gaming has announced a distribution agreement with WeAreCasino. The Portuguese based operator, which operates in a number of regulated markets across the globe, will have access to Betsoft’s full portfolio of award- winning titles, including latest releases Gemmed!, Wolf Moon Rising and hit videoslot Gold Canyon.

The agreement is the latest in a number of significant commercial deals signed by the supplier, following similar partnerships with Caliente, Luckia and Sportium.

AUSTRIA – Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Interactive division, has strengthened its presence in the UK after launching a selection of its premium games with 888. Greentube has gained significant momentum in the UK over the last year. Its online adaptions of popular land-based titles, in addition to its recent releases, are now available through 888’s casino and bingo products and are set to go live soon across the operator’s multivendor platform.

NOVOMATIC UK, the wholly owned UK subsidiary company of NOVOMATIC AG Austria, confirms the completion of the sale of its UK Gaming Technology Group to Inspired Entertainment. Te companies sold include Gamestec Leisure, which primarily serves the UK pub sector through the placement of gaming machines on a managed service basis and delivering service support to the bingo and self- service betting terminals sectors.

Te deal also includes Playnation, which serves the UK holiday and leisure industry, including holiday parks, motorway service stations, bowling alleys, airports and independent holiday resorts through revenue share arrangements with operators. Astra Games, the manufacturer selling Category B3, C and D gaming machines to pubs, adult gaming centres and bingo halls is also included in the sale.
