US market OEMs In its fourth year exhibiting at the G2E show in Vegas, Taiwan-based embedded board manufacturer Ganlot has made significant in-roads into the US gaming sector.
Four years ago the company assessed the requirements of the market, speaking to the Tier One manufacturers about their needs and aspirations for game and machine development. Since that time, Ganlot has directed its own product development towards very high-end products that utilise the latest chipsets from AMD and Intel.
At the show, the Taiwan-based firm showcased its Gaming Mixer of Outputs, which is able to mix gaming content together with a player tracking system or sub-gaming content. Te GMO uses the slot machine existing display to combine video, touch and audio in one simple solution. Utilising multi-scalar functionality, Ganlot’s GMO supports wide input modes from 800 x 600 all the way up to 1080P and 4K. For the outputs, it can also automatically upscale to 4K content.
Ganlot’s Product Director, Lily Chiu, explained: “Te US market is focused on new technology, with every company seeking to be the leaders in their field. We have worked with key partners to ensure that we provide the latest technologies, both from the supply of our GLI-approved gaming boards, through to complementary products, whereby we can also offer a complete cabinet solution for the gaming market and lottery sector. Our parent company develops solutions for the Personal Computer sector and at Ganlot we see ourselves as a complete solution provider. We don’t just supply embedded boards, but we also help customers to configure the entire solution.”

The Patir Casino Seating team at the G2E show
It’s been a year since Patir Casino Seating opened its US office in Nevada and in that time the Germany-based business has recorded strong growth, at both the local level in Las Vegas, and much wider afield with both corporate and tribal gaming properties welcoming the quality and customer service delivered by the firm.
“It’s a very competitive market,” outlined Dennys Patir during the G2E show in Las Vegas, “but what sets us apart is our flexibility and speed of service. In the US market, Patir Casino Seating is working with both aluminium and wood, offering the elegance and natural feel of real wood products. And while all our products are shipped from our factory, custom-made to the exact design requirements of our clients, we
Uptime is the key component in Cash Support’s impressive self-service kiosk - CTM-ONE
Exhibiting for the second time at G2E, Holland-based Cash Support brought its CTM- ONE to the show floor in Vegas. A self-service kiosk for redemption and purchase of smart cards and TITO tickets, the CTM-ONE is an impressive piece of hardware, but as Cash Support’s Erik de Kat explained, it’s the software that’s currently making a huge impact in the market.
“CTM-Dash is a system that allows the owner of a casino to immediately gain access to the status of all their machines via their mobile phone,” said Mr. de Kat. “Using this system the operator can see granular detail about the state of their cash supply, such how many notes are currently available and the amount of paper left on the ticket roll. Tis kind of solution is very common in the ATM sector, but Cash Support is one of the first to introduce this technology to the casino business.”

Having established repeat business from regular customers and with openings and re- furbishments in the pipeline with multiple casino operators in the US casino sector, Mr. Patir has already met his goals for the US office in the first 12 months.
And having confirmed its partnership with SUZOHAPP, which will act as a distributor for Patir Casino Seating across wider geo-graphical regions, Patir Casino Seating is leveraging the huge national SUZOHAPP salesforce in the US to spread the word about the quality, service and exquisite design of the company’s bespoke seating solutions.

Mr. de Kat explained that while competition in this sector is fierce, Cash Support’s CTM-Dash is proving the killer application with clients.
