Ocean Downs is a casino and harness racetrack in Berlin which is owned and now operated by a joint venture of Churchill Downs Inc and Saratoga Casino Holdings after they purchased the casinos from a private ownership group in mid 2017. It opened in January 2011 and has 800 slots and no table games (bar electronic table games) within 34,000sq.ft of gaming space. Ocean Downs Racetrack was opened in 1949 and offers live seasonal harness racing and simulcast facilities.
Maryland Live! Casino in Arundel Mills, Hanover was opened in June 2012 and added table games in April 2013. It has 3,923 slots and 206 table games and located close to Washington DC and Baltimore. Te casino is operated by a family business called Te Cordish Companies which also has other entertainment and leisure facilities under its Live! brand.
Te Rocky Gap Casino Resort opened in May 2013 in Flintstone, Cumberland and has 634 slots and 18 table games. It is operated by Golden Entertainment, formerly Lakes Entertainment Inc, which operates four casino properties in Nevada, Montana and Maryland plus taverns and route locations.
