custom-lighted TouchDash button deck, dual spin buttons, 4K-capable display, and optional USB charger to further welcome enjoyment by players and pairs.”
In addition to an emphasis on single screen games, Konami’s G2E 2017 lineup includes a strong variety of never-before-seen standalone and linked progressives. More than 20 different types of progressives are featured across the Concerto Collection, including a robust offering of symbol-driven jackpots. Money Galaxy’s cumulative triple bonus rounds, Power Boost Inferno’s level-up wheel spin feature with a Supreme jackpot center, and Castlevania: Ring of the Heavens’ symbol-trigger bonus adventure are among the all-new play mechanics premiered during G2E 2017.
Tese latest gaming developments, along with a wealth of new features and functions added across Konami’s SYNKROS casino management system, reinforce the company’s continued R&D investment and momentum. Walther affirmed stating, “Konami’s depth of creative entertainment and top technology is driven by a longstanding focus on R&D. We are committed company-wide to supporting the market with new exciting products and those that look to the future, as is demonstrated with our latest G2E lineup.”
Finally, Fortune Cup, Konami’s innovative horse racing multi-player was on site during G2E at both the Venetian and MGM. Mr. Walther enthused: “Fortune Cup is showing that it is drawing incremental play to this innovative multi-player. It is a real point of difference on the casino floor and isn’t just moving revenue from one slot to another, but is adding to the bottom line above slot revenue, which is why we’re really excited about this product.”
Bluberi stands game and cabinet design on its head with latest range of Class III slots
Te Canada-based Bluberi delivered a range of extremely fresh games and cabinets that can be custom built to the exact specifications of operators
Te eye-catching spectacle of the illuminated floor of the Bluberi stand at G2E drew attention to a company that has been quietly producing Class II and Class III games for South American and tribal gaming markets for the last 20 years, but is now looking to make some noise on the international stage. Speaking on the show floor to recently appointed CEO, Mike Starzynski, he described a shift in philosophy within the company, whose roots in the past have been firmly planted in Class II gaming. “In the last six months we’ve turned our games development on its head,” said Mr. Starzynski. “We used to create Class II games and convert them to Class III, but it’s now the other way around and our games are more exciting as a result.”
Mr. Starzynski explained the client-centric approach Blueberi is taking to servicing its customers, leveraging the Canada-based company’s skills, knowledge and scale to offer ultra-flexibility from both cabinet and game design. “We are not a ‘one-store-fits-all’ supplier,” he underlined. “We are shaping our products around our customers, offering both bespoke games and cabinets targeted at specific demographics to work at their optimum within the client’s own unique environment.”
Bluberi is offering a deeper engagement model that delivers hyper-local games and themes, which are even specific to certain geographic
areas. And what’s remarkable is the level of individuality on offer from the Quebec-based company, whose lab in Toronto brings a combined total of 77 employees working to create sophisticated software on the Unity gaming platform.
Blueberi’s exhibit at G2E represented a relaunch for the company that began in February. On display ay G2E was software working beautifully on the eight gaming cabinets developed by Bluberi, all created in just eight months. Each of the cabinets begins with a single base unit onto which operators can pick and choose from a variety of upper modules that keeps the cost the same, whatever the choice. And because the software is developed on the Unity platform, the game can very quickly and easily be ported to mobile, giving customers looking to transition their customers online even greater choice.
“Bluberi is a small, bespoke, strategic company,” stated Mr. Starzynski, whose enthusiasm at G2E for his company’s products was infectious. “We selected Unity to enable us to develop quickly and port the game immediately, and we’ve added smart cabinets to the mix that are simple to manufacture and scaleable to meet demand. I’m thrilled by the results the creative and talented team at Bluberi has delivered at G2E and excited by their passion and persistence for what lies ahead in the future.”
