Review FERIA INTERNACIONAL DEL JUEGO
Synot cooks up a storm at the Madrid show with its latest market specific gaming products
In Madrid, Spain, the 37th annual Feria Internacional del Juego was a great success. An exhibition for the local Spanish market with a dedicated following, SYNOT enjoyed meeting guests and showing its latest market-specific products
Te SYNOT Group's companies had a single-storey stand C15 on the IFEMA show floor, with a total area of more than 200sq.m. Almost 20 employees of the Group greeted visitors, hailing from Spain, the Czech Republic and Slovakia - comprised from SYNOT Gaming Spain, SYNOT W, SYNOT Games and SYNOT Tip.
"Te guest’s attention was captivated by the design of the stand itself, which was equipped with graphics of some successful SYNOT Games. And not only that. Te SYNOT Group presented its most comprehensive portfolio. From high-end gaming devices to a wide range of online and terminal casino games with stunning visual effects and outstanding technological attributes,” described Manuel Torres Alvarez, CEO of SYNOT Gaming Spain.
Tere were also brand new products - such as the Eclipse cabinet with the FHD Compendium SYNOT VLT Premium, specifically designed for the Spanish market. Furthermore, Spirit Cabinet with a 43ins. 4K curved display with topper and SYNOT VLT Premium+ platform. Te Firebird gaming system, and of course the latest SYNOT Games,

enjoyed centrestage in Madrid, where SYNOT showed 23 gaming machines in total. Tere was also an online section displaying the latest gaming trends for mobile platforms presented on both the ALL-IN-ONE PC and mobile devices. It is online technology that is the future, even in the world of gaming and entertainment. SYNOT reflects this trend with product developments that meet these needs. Tus, each game is available in terminal versions as well as online gaming content.
Te SYNOT Group entered the Spanish market in autumn 2014 through the newly established SYNOT Gaming Spain . Several products are therefore produced specifically for the local market.
“We operate in more than 20 countries all around the world, so we can adapt to any applicable legislation. Moreover, the Spanish market has great potential for us. In this country, we are currently operating in four regions, and we are discussing expansion to other destinations,” explained SYNOT’s Miroslav Valenta jr.
“Te Spanish market has its own specificities, for
example in the form of legislation. Tere are in total 17 self-governing provinces in Spain, each with its own legislation related to the gaming industry and a different regulatory approach.”
Many potential and existing SYNOT business partners, as well as representatives of distribution companies and operations, took part in the Madrid exhibition. And the individual products received great feedback.
Individual participants in the exhibition agreed that European markets have become increasingly well regulated in recent years.
Precisely defined rules together with reasonable regulation are a positive for the country, operators and clients themselves. However, some countries, such as the Czech Republic, are choosing the path of exaggerated and unreasonable regulation, which has a liquidating impact on companies operating in the business sector; it also brings significant reductions in gaming revenues in the state budget and literally drives clients into the arms of illegality, which is experiencing an unprecedented boom in countries with excessive regulation.
