Could you tell us more about OddsJam and give us a potted history of the company?


It's a fascinating story. It was founded by two Stanford roommates who were childhood friends with a vision to create tools for the sports bettor. And that's what we've done. We've been on a mission to create the best tools and content and bring that to sports bettors around the world.


A lot of people call us the Bloomberg Terminal of sports betting and that's how we think about the business. We are a B2C subscription business that always places the customer first. Tat's ultimately our edge. Te customer is everything to us, we listen to them and deliver on what they want.


What does the Bloomberg Terminal analogy mean?


At OddsJam we’re acutely aware that understanding the strategy and nuances in sports betting is vital for success. We embrace the philosophy of understanding how to use information to succeed, offering insights on how to approach betting strategically.


Tese data points are presented in a clean, intuitive platform which is where the Bloomberg Terminal for sports betting concept originates. We’re educating our network and giving them the tools to bet with precision leveraging real-time data.


Tis educational philosophy has seen us build several tools for the sports bettor. Our most popular is the Positive EV Betting Tool. We spend a lot of time producing content for YouTube, social, etc. with a mission to fix the minds of sports bettors in the US.


A lot of people just decide to bet on every game for March Madness. Tat's fine if you want to lose money sports betting. But if you're smart, you'll recognise it's you against the books. What we do is build tools to help people find value in the market. Our content is rewiring the mind of the sports bettor in the US to basically focus on value. And that's what our positive EV Betting Tool does.


And has the US been a great success for the OddsJam?


Te US is where it all began.It's been a great testing ground for us. We're learning about the likes of the UK and Brazil, and we're excited to invest deeper in global markets. I'm certainly proud of what we've built in the US so far.

Looking at reviews of OddsJam, an aspect that crops up is the simplicity of the user interface. Easy to describe, less so to execute...


Finding that perfect balance is the big challenge. We're trying to super-serve the hardcore bettor while also making it simple for people to understand. We have some talent around the business who use the product, promote the product, and have a huge affiliate network, but we want it to be patently clear - even to first time users.


One joke that we often say is bet the bets in green, we literally put a green box around it. Te data is there for people who have a desire to go deep, but also, we recognise the need to make it simple for everybody.
