Why was the Bally’s Kansas City design such a ‘bold departure from the current aesthetic.’ What was the former ’style’ of the casino - what were you working with?


Christine: A picture is worth a thousand words. Te original aesthetic was an orange, 65-foot high “steamboat-style” boat the size of a football field.


What were the key elements of the Bally’s brief?


Christine: Te Commercial Center was a new addition to the existing structure. We has to construct a new façade to disguise the existing boat and build gangplank entrance to access the boat from the parking
