Cheaper models from non-gaming suppliers may be pulled at a moment’s notice from the market place leaving it very difficult to find a form-fit-function replacement for solutions.


In terms of connectivity, are all displays now standard, or is there a wide range of connections and software to bear in mind when thinking about adding a monitor within a slot setup?


Essentially the monitor is like a dumb terminal to the gaming cabinet, so specialised software is generally not needed. Usually Touch firmware (F/W) and Analog-to-Digital card F/W just needs to be configured and secured for accurate responses and functionality.


Connectivity is generally via a USB port for the Touch functionality and either HDMI or DP for the graphics, multiple inputs is something most of our product ranges accommodate.
