NATIONAL CITY, CA — TDK Corporation has introduced the TDK-Lambda brand DBM20 24V, 20A rated DIN rail buffer module. The narrow 1.9 in. (49 mm) width saves space on the DIN rail allow- ing additional modules and func- tionality to be fitted. A remote on/off inhibit function avoids the unsafe discharge of stored energy during system maintenance and servicing.

The “GENESIS64 Basic SCADA” facilitates the visualiza-
tion of data in small applications but can also be scaled up to medi- um applications with optional
add-ons depending on require- ments of the customer. For cus- tomers with bigger system needs, “GENESIS64 Advanced Application Server” will help to create a serverless system using cloud computing, which will facilitate the construction of redundant, multi-location or other highly secure, large-scale systems.

DBM20 24V, 20A DIN rail buffer module.
The DBM20 provides an
extended 250 ms hold-up time to power supplies preventing data loss during brief power interrup- tions or allowing equipment to safely shutdown. Applications include industrial automation, robotics and semiconductor fab- rication equipment. To eliminate the need for
servicing and maintenance of batteries, energy is stored in electrolytic capacitors. Charge and discharge status can be mon- itored local or remotely via a DC OK relay, LED indicators and photo-coupled signals. To obtain longer buffer times, the DBM20 modules can be connected in par- allel. A front panel switch can be used to select either fixed or vari- able voltage buffer levels. In fixed mode, it will provide power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V, in variable mode when
