SUWANEE, GA — ASM Assem- bly Systems has expanded on its range of “integrated smart facto- ry” systems and solutions with several hardware and software innovations and the launch of its high-performance SIPLACE TX micron placement system. The SIPLACE TX micron is
designed for advanced packaging and high-density applications. The latest system offers a 23 per- cent increase in performance over its predecessor, placement accuracies of up to 15 µm at three sigma and component dis- tances of as little as 50 µm. According to ASM, it is the
