Multi-Use Snap-On Connector Straps from Keystone
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — New, insulated, snap-on connector straps, prewired for simplified connectivity applications, are now available from Keystone Elec -
used for snap-on/snap-off con- nectivity applications in equip- ment, devices and automotive environments. These connectors allow for easy and secure connec- tivity of devices. They are sup- plied with an insulated vinyl cov- ered base to reduce short circuit and contact tampering potential. Both male stud connector and female socket connector feature brass, nickel-plated contacts for a reliable, low contact resistance battery connection. Rated for up to 2A, 120 VAC,

CDE Launches Long-Life AC Filter Capacitors
NORTHVALE, NJ —Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE) has launched its ALH series of AC harmonic filter capacitors with a rating of 1,500 hours. This new CDE series is designed with the most advanced construction technology to meet the chal- lenges of harsh environments and is available from New Yorker Electronics. The series offers 50 percent
greater life than competitive 85/85 THB-rated power film capacitors with designs that pass the rigors of automotive- grade electrical and mechanical testing. The temperature, humidity
at bias (THB) test exposes parts to the harsh conditions of 185°F (85°C) at 85 percent relative humidity with rated voltage applied. CDE’s testing has been validated for 1,500 hours while competitors validate their series for 1,000 hours under the same conditions. This demanding test simu- lates the extremely harsh oper-
ating conditions encountered in many commercial and industrial inverter applications that can cause conventional film capaci- tors to fail early, due to moisture

penetration. The ALH series is optimized for AC harmonic fil- tering on the input and output of inverter circuits. Capacitance ranges from 0.22 to 50 µF at 160 to 450 VAC, 50/60 Hz with high rms current ratings for handling
higher-ordered harmonics. Contact: Cornell Dubilier Electronics, Inc., 140 Technology
