for us all, but individuals with disabili- ties have been particularly hard hit,” says Vic Wursten, chief rehabilitation of- ficer at PRIDE. “The isolation from their friends and coworkers has been devas- tating, which is why we needed to find ways for our employees with disabilities to stay connected with their support net- works.”


Since the pandemic hit, the PRIDE


Industries’ buses that typically trans- port clients to their worksites have been repurposed. For the last year, PRIDE has used its fleet to deliver groceries, personal protective equipment (PPE), ac- tivity packets, and even pet supplies to homebound employees throughout the region.
