New Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer
Control Company used the Fisher Scientific show to exhibit their Traceable Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer. Key features include: accurately monitors temperatures in freezers, water baths, heating blocks, incubators, and refrigerators with this enclosed temperature-buffered sensor; bottle insulates sensor from rapid temperature changes when refrigerator door is opened; patented unit fulfils all CDC thermometer and vaccine thermometer requirements; triple display simultaneously shows high, low, and current temperatures; and min/max monitors high/low readings overnight, on weekends, or for any time period - a significant advantage over current reading-only glass thermometers. Range is –58 to 158°F and –50 to 70°C with a resolution of 1° and accuracy of ±1°C.
Alarm feature provides alert when temperature rises above or falls below a set point. Alarm is programmable in 1° increments. Visual and audible signals continue even if temperature returns to non-alarm range. Three-metre micro-cable permits refrigerator doors to close on it.
Solid-state probe eliminates mercury contamination in refrigerators. Probe is sealed in a miniature bottle (25.4 x 64 mm) filled with nontoxic glycol. Solution is GRAS (generally recognised as safe) by the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Eliminates concerns about incidental contact
with food or drinking water. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 Traceable®
calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA (A2LA and UKAS calibration certificates are all mutually recognised). It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). High-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic case is 70 x 108 x 19mm. Weight is 114g. Supplied with Certificate, flip-open stand for lab bench, slot for wall mounting, and Velcro®

The new sophisticated design details makes for a more efficient and significantly quieter work place. Drawers, for example, are no longer only partially extending, but can be pulled out fully and silently.
This makes it easier for the user to organise and order the contents. There is an alternative to fixed drawer bottoms and the internal boxes make it easier to reach the contents. The user can see stored items quickly and can remove items with one hand even from the furthest corner.

All drawers are equipped with Airmatic cushion runners. The closure is air cushioned and therefore soft and silent. This is a new innovation and unique on the market: the Airmatic silencer works without oil and therefore eliminates leakages.
For the first time, there are drawers with a load capacity of 40kg or 70kg. Existing runners can be replaced with those with a capacity of 70kg. All drawers offered have an automatic retraction system, which facilitates a synchronised retraction with smooth closure instead of the usual ‘snapping’.
Another improved feature of the cupboards is that doors close more silently. In addition to the proven 270° hinge, which in dangerous situations ‘completely’ folds doors, we use door buffers, which cushion the cupboard doors when closing.
