BioSpectrum Imaging System for Multiplex Fluorescent Western Blot Detection

BioSpectrum® with the BioLite™ Xe

MultiSpectral Light Source allows detection of multiple proteins on the same blot. Fluorescent western blotting is used to perform direct, non-enzymatic detection of protein expression. This technique eliminates the need to strip and re-probe and supplies accurate quantitative analysis of data with broad dynamic range and long stable signal. Brochure describes the wide range of applications and features of the BioSpectrum.

Chemists Invited to join free Flow Chemistry Workshop in the US

Syrris is hosting a free flow chemistry workshop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, on the 9th of May 2013. The latest in a successful global series of workshops, the event will combine theoretical discussion with hands-on sessions, enabling chemists to develop their understanding of the many and varied benefits of flow chemistry.

Previous workshops have been a resounding success, and Syrris has received lots of positive feedback from participants. Dr B.R. Shah, R&D Manager at Excel Crop Care Ltd, commented: “The delivery of information was very good. Demonstrations of flow chemistry instruments were informative and practical”. Building on this, US delegates now have the opportunity to take advantage of the Company’s extensive knowledge and experience to learn how to perform reactions that are not possible using traditional techniques, and to see for themselves how flow chemistry can provide safer, faster and cleaner reactions. The theoretical and practical aspects of flow chemistry – including reaction optimisation – will be covered, including demonstrations of a range of experiments using the award-winning Asia Flow Chemistry system.

To register, or to find out more about the workshops, please email workshop@syrris.com MORE INFO. 183
