Accountants making a stand with Moors

Solihull Moors officially opened its redeveloped Damson Homes Stand, which took place prior to a match against Eastleigh at the SportNation.bet Stadium in Solihull. Promotion chasing Moors started the first

weeks of new season with key wins against Chorley and Ebbsfleet United. Former England international and Solihull-

born Karen Carney were on-hand to cut the ribbon, alongside Chairman Darryl Eales. In a half-time interview with the club,

Carney expressed her excitement for the direction that the football club is heading in. She said: "It's a lot better now for sure. The

stand's unbelievable - it's got boxes, hospitality so it's a lot different to when I played here. The pitch is spectacular. That's down to Birchy (Gary Birch) the groundsman. "Everything is moving in the right direction. It's exciting for the football club."

Paul Faulkner, chief executive of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Robert Elliot, president of Soihull Chamber of Commerce and Samantha Frampton, relationship manager for Solihull Chamber of Commerce were also in attendance at the event.

‘Everything’s moving in the right direction. It’s exciting for the football club’

Solihull Chamber of Commerce has further

supported the club by becoming sponsors of the 2007 members club for the 2019/2020 season, which will be formally opened at a Chamber hosted speaker breakfast event on 25 September.
