Autumn Expo perfect platform for business
Over 800 SMEs are expected at the biggest business promotion event in the West Midlands in the autumn. Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce
(GBCC) will be staging their Autumn Expo at Villa Park, the home of Aston Villa Football Club, on Friday 25 October, giving businesses the opportunity to build networks, promote businesses, find new suppliers or expand knowledge of markets and best practice. There will be a seminar programme and a large
exhibition space for businesses to promote their operations. Paul Faulkner, chief executive of the GBCC,
said: “Autumn Expo offers under one roof the best platform in the West Midlands to do so many things to help promote any business. “The large exhibition space will provide the
perfect opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to showcase their businesses and take advantage of a proven arena for making new contacts and building business.”
The Autumn Expo runs from 10am to 3pm and
will also include a seminar programme and a speed networking session.

Future Faces awards Heart FM presenter Gemma Hill will be hosting the Future Faces annual dinner and awards. Ms Hill, who co-hosts Heart FM’s drive time
programme alongside Ed James, will compere the event at the ICC on 20 September. Before joining Heart FM in 2017, Ms Hill
previously worked at Rother FM and Free Radio. She said: “I’m so excited to be hosting this amazing event celebrating the wealth of young talent we have here in the second city. “I absolutely love Birmingham, it is such an
exciting time to be part of the city, it is ever changing, ever growing and the opportunities for anyone wanting to launch a career here haven’t ever been so exciting! “Birmingham is the youngest city in Europe
and I cannot wait to celebrate these truly inspirational, vibrant young professionals, and have a really fun night too. “It’s a real honour to be a part of this important event.” Nine sector awards will be handed out at the
event, including the Future Face of Greater Birmingham award. This award is sponsored by Aston University
