Dartmouth Arts Society At least two Kingswear artists will be exhibiting with


the Dartmouth folk in the coming exhibition from 4th to 17th August in the Masonic Hall in Dartmouth. Last year’s exhibition was a great success, selling a good number of locally-produced works to both residents and visitors alike. Works are of a high standard and it is recommended to catch the show early before works are sold. The Masonic Hall can be reached from under the arch which is next to the former Greenslades electrical shop, just near the lower ferry – as you turn right off the ferry to go in to Dartmouth shops. So, if you’re looking for a special present, or if you are in need of brownie points get yourself along to Dartmouth Arts Society exhibition.

Creek and Park Clean-up Thanks are due to the Waterhead Creek Preservation


Society for their efforts in organising the recent clean-up and litter-pick of Waterhead Creek and Jubilee Park. We do not have an abundance of open spaces in the village really so it is good to see the space we do have looking good. The parish council expressed their appreciation and have agreed to buy some litter pickers to help with the next operation.
