TRUSTEE VACANCY Steering the charity on its next stage of development

artmouth Caring is a local charity that exists to help those in need, the elderly and the vulnerable within Dartmouth and surrounding villages. We’ve recently celebrated our 30th Birthday, and through our 100


or so volunteers and the equivalent of 6 full time staff, provide a wide range of services aimed at improving health and well-being within our community. We are seeking additional Trustees who will actively contribute their skills and experience with an enthusiasm to enhance the services we provide. This is an opportunity to be part of an inclusive and thriving charity. The principal responsibility is to contribute to steering the charity on its next stage of development. Additionally, there are the normal governance responsibilities that apply to any trustee role. There is more than one vacancy, and we hope to bring to the Trustee Board additional skills in Health and Social Care, and in Leadership and Finance. General requirements are empathy with our charitable aims, an ability to think creatively, good judgement and to work effectively within a team. The role is voluntary, meetings of the Board are quarterly and Trustees are involved with other matters
