MIDLETON were im-
pressive in Castlemartyr when they saw off Agha- da in the first round of the ‘Michael O’Connor Motor Factors’ East Cork JAFC. It took the sides a bit
of time to get going with only a point a piece in the opening quarter, but that all changed on the fifteenth minute when Midleton were awarded a penalty and Johnny Com- er, brother of the Galway inter-county player Dave Comer dispatched the ball into the top left cor- ner giving Ciaran O’Shea no chance.
