Youghal Homebirds Festival A Great Success

by CLAIRE O’DONOGHUE The Youghal Home-

birds Festival was a major success. Congratulations must be given to the com- mittee for taking on such a monumental

and collaboration of mu- sicians and publicans alike to form a non-stop music weekend. Bands and sing- ers of all genres belted out tunes and songs to delight- ed crowds from The Qual- ity Hotel through town to the The Point Bar and all

for getting involved again next year if it becomes an annual event”. Sentiments echoed by other publicans also.

Darragh Parker and

Linda O’Connell of CRY- 104FM have certainly be- gun something special with the weekend. When asked if it was plausible that the Homebirds success could be turned into a yearly event, the response from all publicans was a resound- ing yes! How fantastic to see Youghal and local area talent on show for all to ap-

forward. Anything

that benefits the town, ben- efits the people. Overall, we were delighted with the results of all the hard work and we appreciate all the feedback. We look forward

to collaborating with all in- terested parties as we start to prepare for next year”. Darragh would like to so thank all those involved in the
