M

erged into the hillside and spanning three floors, Gaia Spa at five-star Boringdon Hall is about total wellness, giving you the tools to

create a balanced and liberated lifestyle. New programmes, treatments and the ever-growing team of highly experienced experts offers guests long-term plans to improve general health and wellbeing. In November last year Gaia introduced the results-driven, ground-breaking Fire & Ice Facial with the spa being just one of three in the UK to offer the treatment. The facial is coveted by A-Listers and skin experts world-wide and safely stimulates natural cellular responses, encourage skin rejuvenation and improves skin condition. The treatment is ideal for those suffering from acne, pigmentation and rosacea, with visible results and noticeable improvements to skin health.

In February, the spa launches Pure

Massage, developed by world-renowned therapist and massage expert Beata Aleksandrowicz. Aleksandrowicz is a former columnist for The Sunday Telegraph and regularly appears as an expert for publications such as Spa Business and European Spa Magazine. Aleksandrowicz will train Gaia’s therapists in all Pure Massage treatments combining deep tissue and trigger point techniques, energy work, myofascial release, dynamic stretches and Touch Therapy. Alongside facial and massage specialists, Naturopathic Practitioner, Allison Sheppard joins the team. Sheppard has trained in a range of techniques aimed at restoring health and wellness, guiding people though lifestyle

changes and has a special interest in the prevention and reversal of chronic health conditions using natural remedies, normally starting with the diet.
