Dear Friends and Neighbours
November is traditionally a time of remembrance when we especially remember and pray for those who have gone before us. On Remembrance Sunday, 12th November, there will be an Act of Remembrance at 11am at the War Memorial in the Broadstone Recreation Ground, off Ridgeway, and this will be followed at 11.30am by a Remembrance Day Service at St John’s Church, Dunyeats Road.
The following Saturday, 18th November, people of all faiths and none are invited to St Anthony’s Catholic Church, 135 York Road, to light a candle in memory of departed family and friends, an opportunity to pause and refl ect. The church will be open for the lighting of candles from 10am to 4pm.

Broadstone Methodists will be celebrating their Church Anniversary on Sunday 19th November
The worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev. Steve Wild, who is a former President of the Methodist Conference. Steve has a zeal for Mission and Evangelism and is currently the spiritual leader of Methodists in Cornwall.
After the service, coffee and tea will be served and during the early afternoon there will be an informal session with Rev. Steve in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Please join us for as much of the day as you can – it promises to be stimulating and thought provoking.
