Half Price Sale!
The Broadstone Day Centre shop is celebrating 25 years at 7 Dunyeats Road.
Funds raised at the Broadstone Day Centre charity shop in Dunyeats Road subsidise the weekly Day Centre at the United Reformed
Church in Broadstone. Both the shop and the Centre are managed by volunteers.
To celebrate this milestone, we will be holding a half price sale at the shop during November. Hopefully by then the footpath opposite the shop will have been re-instated and the traffi c lights removed, making it easier for members of the public to come around the corner from The Broadway.
We are grateful to Brian and Denise for holding a raffl e on our behalf at the Post Offi ce in October. Also to Tapper Funeral Service in Broadstone for giving the Day Centre the donations they receive from their Bereavement Lunches.
We are still collecting small amounts of scrap, pots and pans, brass, copper, small electrical items, cable and car batteries. These have so far raised almost £5,000 for the Day Centre funds. Apart from the usual donations of clothes, we also accept rags. Any books we receive that are over and above our needs we pass on to Kingston Lacy for their Book Shop.
