On Sunday, 24th September, we held our fi rst District Adventure Day at Butchers Coppice. Girls from all sections were invited to take part in a day full of activities and fun.

We were very lucky with the weather and the day was very well attended with more than 100 girls taking part and numerous leaders and parent helpers, without whom we would not have been able to look after such a large number of girls.

It was very nice to see all the girls together, mixing and getting to know each other. The day was partly paid for by the girls and partly subsided by the district using the money which was generously donated last year during the Broadstone Christmas Parade. Here are a few comments from the girls:
