Aston Villa FC is venue for Chamber Autumn Expo


The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce is staging another of its successful expo event on 27 October. The Autumn Expo will take place at Aston Villa


FC and will open at 10am. The expo has established itself as one of the biggest in the region, with more than 700 delegates in attendance and in excess of exhibitors from various business sectors taking space at the last one. The expo will attract businesses looking to


promote themselves and build their network of contacts, and also those seeking new suppliers. There will also be a series of seminars, one of


which will focus on international trade and exporting. More details of this and the topics that will be under discussion will be announced soon. The last expo was in Spring at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre. It attracted around 900 visitors and featured 84 exhibitors from across the region. The Autumn Expo, sponsored by Birmingham


City University is free to members and non- members.

National Memorial Arboretum is opening its doors on 21 September to allow visitors to look round its new remembrance centre. The new centre is part of a £15.7m


transformation of the site, which covers 150 acres and incorporates more than 300 memorials recognising service and sacrifice. At the open day, the Arboretum will reveal


how it works with corporate partners and its plans for 2018, which include a new events and conferencing building. Guests will also hear from Arboretum managing director Sarah Montgomery and her senior management team.
