Travel from A2B with handy Chamber House taxi service


Visitors to Chamber House in Harborne Road, Edgbaston, can be whisked away to their next destination at the push of a button - literally. The button will summon a taxi from Solihull-based


A2B Radio Cars, which also operates in Birmingham. A2B was established in 1991 and has a fleet of more


than 700 vehicles, one of the biggest in the city. The firm opened a new office in Birmingham city


centre last May. A2B director Mark Skermer said: "A2B are proud to announce the launch of their new Birmingham city centre office. As a member of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce we look forward introducing our business class service to associated members and local businesses."

Director of sales flies high with BMI


Airline BMI Regional has appointed Andreas Weingartner as its new director of sales. Andreas joins from Brussels


Airlines, where he was the general manager for Central Europe, the Baltics, the Balkans, Russia, Armenia and offline sales. He will be responsible for sales


across BMI Regional’s extensive network, which now spans more


than 400 weekly flights to 35 destinations. Jochen Schnadt, chief


commercial officer of BMI Regional, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Andreas to the BMI regional team. “His exceptional contacts and


knowledge, paired with excellent sales acumen, made Andreas the ideal candidate for this role.”
