I picked up my copy of Capricorn Ris-
ing last week at the book signing at The Big House. Five stars my brother. I was born in Macon, and blessed enough to have been around during the mid-60's through the 70’s when the music scene was big. The vast ma- jority of your subject matter and the wonder- ful people whose stories, through your superior interviewing skills, first-hand knowledge of all of the above, make for one fantastic Informative and great read. Thank you brother for a platinum, top-shelf, awe- some book. I'd Love to buy you lunch any- time you’re back through Macon.

Buffalo, The book signing at The Big House was
one of the best events I have ever attended in Macon! It was so great meeting you and many of the Capricorn Records stars, and don’t get me started on Billy Bob Thornton. I don’t know how you managed to get him to the event, but thank you.He was extremely kind to every person who approached him, myself included. I had not planned on going to his band’s concert that night, but when I saw how nice he was, I bought tickets! And I was so surprised to see that you were his opening act! I didn’t even know you were a musician. You were awesome! And with Tommy Talton! The Boxmasters were a blast

Greetings Buffalo, I just had to write and thank you for an
awesome day in Macon on the 19th! The book signing was great fun, and I got to meet Billy Bob Thornton and had my picture made with you and him! Be still my heart! Of course seeing all of the Capricorn Legends was extra special, and having my picture made with you and Billy was a thrill! Everyone signed my book, it was like Christmas. I am a life long fan of Tommy Talton
and was mesmerized by his acoustic set at the end! Then I went to the Douglass Theater and was blown away to find him playing with you! How do I order your albums? Is that song “Painting Her Toenails” on a CD? How can I get a copy? I had never heard the Boxmasters be-
fore, and now I am buying every CD they have! They rock! Thanks again and thank you for all you
do to support “our kind” of music!
