Fetzer MMMM Anthony’s Hill Chardonnay 2014 California Fetzer is another very inexpensive yet highly en- joyable wine, boasting complex aromas of tropi- cal fruit, hazelnut, and honeydew melon on the nose. Rich flavors of melon, pear. Citrus and baked ap- ples ignite on the pallet for a nice
flavor.There are also distinct almond flavors. The wine has a smooth texture, and is medium bvodied, bal- anced slightly to the soft side. Pairs well withy pasta dishes, chicken
Roscato, Rosso Dolce Provincia di Pavia, Italy MMMMM A light and tasty red sparkling wine. Be
warned, it is pretty sweet, but if you are like me and likie it sweet, you’ll really dig this one. I biught a sample recently while dining at Olive Garden and immediately loved it. I thought of making a purchase, but the bottle was $23. After lunch I went to grocery store and got a bottle for $12.
There are strong tastes of black cherry and
moscato on the pallet and the finish is smooth as silk. Good stuff.
Vendage Chardonnay 2014 MMMM California This wine boasts a full, ripe and fruity
nose. It’s highly acidic but very enjoyable. The pallet picks up tastes of apple, pear and strawberry hints. It is also lightly oaked, and fea- tures a nice nutty finish. Vendage is very good, in- expensive wine for picnics, the beach or other outings.
Clos du Boi Chardonnay 2015 MMM From Sonoma County, Clifronia comes this full, buttery and smooth wine with hints of apple, but it is not floral. Nice and fruity with pronounced flavors of apple, pear, vanilla, lemon and a very

Redwood Creek Chardonnay California MMMM Another very inexpensive yet smooth table
wine. Crisp and dry, Redwood Creek features en- ticing aromas of ripe apple and citrus on the nose with hints of oak. Buttery, with rich flavors of vanilla, tropical fruit and citrus on the pallet. A rich, tasteful sparkling wine that pairs well with fish (especially salmon), poultry or pasta dishes. •
