deep and the cops lead us off. Prince probably had 50 people mad and we had like 6,000. (Laughs)

When I heard that Three Dog Night story somebody had told me that you just kept doing the song "One is the lonest number" over and over again. (Laughing.) We did about four tunes in 3 -4 minutes, and I re- member "Wipe Out" was the first one, it lasted about 20 or 30 seconds and then we did the other. . . I can't recall, God it’s been too long man, 44 years, but I'll tell ya, it's the only time I've known fear. (Laughing) When you’ve got 10,000 or so people mad at you, I felt like the bad guy in wrestling ya know. . .

a month called Pharaoh's Kitchen, and then I've got a documentary coming out in about a month too, it's called Basically Frightened and it traces all our history of our band, mostly Southern music, and I hope it's not too much about me but it will trace from the early 60's until now and you can go on the website and look at it, I think there’s a 3 to 5 minute trailer for it. That should be out in 3 or 4 weeks, I hopeso ! It's been in pro- duction for 13 years! (Both laughing) That's good for me.I did not make the movie, and it's taking forever to get it, but we'll probably do a part two in the next year. But its a pretty out there, a funny movie, and got all the people I've worked with, all of my friends and stuff. And we’ve got a gospel blues record out

called Pharaoh's Kitchen. AJ Gent plays pedal steel. His father invented the Sacred Steel. Aubrey Gent Sr. you’ve probably heard of him, these are the guys that taught the Campbell Brothers and and Robert Randolph.

I love that that kind of music. I didn't know about that, I’ve got to find out more. Well, I guess that is gonna wrap up for this time Bruce, but I sure do appreciate your time as always and I look forward to see- ing you again soon I hope. Let's not wait 15 years. (Both laughing.)

Yeah, we have a standing date very 15 years. Nah man, it's always a pleasure and thanks for everything. It’s always a lot of fun with you, and we touched on a lot of different stuff man. I can’t wait tio get back to Greenville and visit you and Miss Jill! But I need to know your most hated song of all time (Laughing)

Yeah the heel, they call him. Exactly.

What’s coming up next on the Colonel Bruce show? We’ve got a record hopefully coming out in about

Most hasted song. . . let me think. . . I know there are more than 30 but we sat at lunch today and there were about 10 of us and it was just the funniest stuff that gets into people's minds, ya know, just some song you use to hate like 50 years ago. You’ve got to come up with something fairly obscure.

Fairly obscured, Oh ok, well that would be a children's record from 1962 - my college
