Hi Gang! Where to begin? This month we lost one of my dear
friends who just happened to be one of rock’s most innova- tive performers. Col. Bruce Hampton died onstage at the end of his 70th birthday celkebration on May 1st. We pay tribute to the Colonel by running a transcribed radio interview we did in 2012. He will be missed like no other... Our cover story is an interview with the “Godfather
of Southern Rock” himself, Charlie Daniels at 80 years young. Also this issue we present an interview with guitar prodigy Marcus King and another with former CNN/HLN personality turned author Nancy Grace. We are pleased to welcome a new staff columnist,
Electra Posada, the “Rock and Roll Health Chick,” and we present both a feature article and photo retrospective on our recent road trip to play with The Boxmasters and hold a book signing and Capricorn panel discussion at The Big House.
